Summary: A manufacturer of feeding systems already had an internet presence. The problem was that the existing website was out of date and in need of development and new design. Beamond Creative provided Streamfeeder with several design options. To these designs, communications staff provided their own input to arrive at the perfect website design piece. The website used a javascript menu system and was built in such a way to allow for future expansion, that was scheduled to include an e-commerce segment for online sales. Streamfeeder wanted an internal method for updating the website content periodically, but did not have the resources for a complete custom Content Management System (CMS). Our solution to this was to create template based html files with editable regions. This made for simple web updates and for adding new pages. We took the process one-step further and provided onsite one-on-one assistance to train internal communications staff on the basics of HTML CSS and Javascript. The company was more than pleased to be presented with an up-to-date functional web site that could be managed internally,
minimizing the cost of professional assistance.
